Radiator upgrades, a new sink, pipework corrected, and a spotless finish

We were recently contacted by a homeowner in Dudley who needed help with a mix of plumbing and heating jobs that had been building up over time, including a few fixes after poor work by a previous installer. The customer wanted to modernise parts of the home, correct a few frustrating issues, and make sure everything was properly sorted once and for all.

A mix of jobs — done properly this time

This wasn’t a one-issue job. On arrival, our WLV engineers took time to walk through each area with the customer to understand what needed doing, and more importantly, what hadn’t been done right the first time.

Here’s what the team tackled:

Fitted a brand new radiator in the lounge to improve heating performance in the main living space

Removed an old radiator completely from another area, capping off and making good the pipework

Corrected poor-quality pipework in the downstairs WC, originally installed by someone else and never routed properly

Installed a new sink in the en suite for a cleaner, modern look

Re-sealed the shower tray, solving minor leaks and giving the area a fresh, finished feel

What really mattered to the customer was that the work was done cleanly, properly, and with care. From the moment we arrived, we protected floors, worked efficiently, and made sure every job was finished to a high standard.

At the end of the job, we walked the customer through everything we’d done, answered a few follow-up questions, and made sure every space was left tidy, clean and ready to use.
